Telecommunications in India Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, BSNL Mobile has again come-up with the new offers for bsnl prepaid customers introducing 4g combo plan 599 work from home which gives up to 5GB of data per day with unlimited calling benefits.
As India continues to be stuck, state-run BSNL has introduced a new prepaid plan 'Work from home 599 prepaid plan' to gain more benefit during the Covid19 lock down difficult phase in India.
After VRS Scheme in BSNL the company is struggling a lot and sustaining its existence by launching and giving unlimited benefits to its prepaid mobile customers.
Private telecommunication service providers are also suffering with the same problem but the competition between the Public telecommunications company is continuing.
However , bsnl has not stopped providing the best tariff plans in the mobile industry to prepaid subscribers.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has now introduced a new prepaid STV Rs 599, also known as "599 STV Work from Home", which comes with a whopping 5GB of data at In the past, we have seen BSNL offer the same amount of daily data advantage at Rs 551, but it was limited to the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana telecommunications circles only.
The latest prepaid STV Rs 599 is valid across the country where BSNL it is operational and valid for 90 days and also offers voice calls and SMS benefits.
BSNL Prepaid 599 Work from Home plan: detailed benefits
Unlike the Rs 551 package which was a daily plan, Rs 599 STV is an unlimited combined plan. The benefits of the plan include unlimited voice calls to any network in India with a limit of 250 minutes per day, 5 GB of data per day and 100 SMS per day. The plan is valid for 90 days from the date of activation of STV.As noted, BSNL will supply the new prepaid STV Rs 599 in all telecommunications circles (except Mumbai and Delhi).
BSNL also claimed that data rates would be limited to 80 Kbps after completing the 5 GB data limit. BSNL successfully markets the Rs 599 plan as a "Prepaid Work From Home plan" recharge because it offers a total of 450GB of data.
At the moment, many Indian citizens are working from home because of the covid19 corona-virus and are looking for heavy data plans. While there are many subscribers who opt for the traditional wired broadband connection, there are some who rely on mobile data to do their daily work.
Private telecommunications provide maximum upto 3GB of data per day
In similar news, BSNL is again surpassing private telecommunications with the new Rs 599 plan as it offers up to only 3 GB of data per day. Prior to the telecom tariff in India review in December 2019, there were some prepaid plans from Reliance Jio, Airtel and Vodafone Idea that provided over 4GB of data per day.However, the maximum daily data benefit offered by the three telecommunications companies with any prepaid plan at the moment is 3GB per day.
On the other hand, BSNL has just launched a prepaid plan with 5GB work from home data per day on offer. It will be interesting to see how prepaid telecommunications companies respond to this new STV from the government-run telecommunications company.
