Public telecommunications company in India Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited - BSNL has decided to simplify prepaid top-up denominations from January 1, 2021 onwards. Based on the most recent information published on bsnl official website bsnl.co.in, only 24 top-up vouchers will be available for BSNL prepaid mobile subscribers.
To increase their main account balance, customers may need to choose one of 24 top-up denominations available for Recharge online.
Currently, BSNL prepaid mobile customers can recharge their prepaid number with any denomination in the multiple of Rs 10 starting at Rs 10 / -. This scenario will change from the new year 2021 January, 1st onwards. BSNL will allow the selection of 24 top up denominations starting January 1, 2021 for its prepaid mobile customers in all Indian telecommunication circles.

An official statement on streamlining top-up denominations for BSNL prepaid mobile customers reads as follows: -
The competent authority has decided to streamline the following top-ups available across India in the context of prepaid GSM mobile services: -
Refill denomination (total 24) in MRP 10/20/30/40/50/60/70/80/90/100/110/120/150/200/220/300/500/550/1000/1100/2000 / 3000/5000 and 6000 allowed only from 01-01-2021. This will replace all previous approvals for circles or corporate orders owned by Top Ups.
BSNL Full Talk value (FTV) with MRP 120/150/200/220/300/500/550/1000/1100/2000/3000/5000 and 6000 recharge only for the month of January 2021.
The above Prepaid tariff plans will be applicable from 01-01-2021 on PAN India basis and implementation of the bsnl tariffs will take place in accordance with the 43rd amendment to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) orders / guidelines / clarifications issued from time to time.
How can I increase my BSNL prepaid main account balance from January 1, 2021 onwards?
You may need to recharge/top up your prepaid mobile sim number with one of the 24 denominations available for recharge from BSNL official recharge portal / third party recharge website like paytm, mobikwik, freecharge and Amazon recharge portal Of the 24 top-up denominations.
BSNL also allows full talk time benefits on 12 selected recharge denominations from January 2021, as shown in the table above.
Are Full Talk Time(FTT) recharge denominations the same in all months of 2021?
No. According to BSNL, the special full talk time offer was declared in 12 recharge denominations for the month of January 2021 alone.
BSNL has discontinued all additional talk time offers starting on 12-01-2020. Previously, BSNL's prepaid mobile customers were offered a range of additional talk time offers starting at Rs 550 and above.
All these additional talk-value offers are now being replaced with full talk time from December 2020 onwards.
